About

Short Bio

I’m a self published, coloring book creator. I create coloring books to help people relieve stress. Illustration and drawing have always been a part of my communication with others. It started at a young age. I would have drawing competitions with my cousins and my mother would give us all encouraging ideas and critical thinking exercises. Growing up I would thumbnail and sketch everything out, before committing to a project. I’m humbled to have so many talented people in my life. They continue to push me and inspire me to pursue my endeavors in art.

With A fascination for humanity expressing themselves and relating to one another within our modern social systems and platforms, I discover and discuss these relationships within the works I create. From Abstraction to Storytelling with images and words, my work is influenced through my interactions with current cultural narratives. Sharing my work and processes, enables me to encourage others to create and connect with the arts. Over several years and art professions, relating an idea has had its challenges, hardships, revelations and successes.
Experimenting with materials to capture a mood throughout the textures takes finesse, practice and patience. Spending hours focusing, exploring and dreaming of textual landscapes to convey the subtleties of visual art. Within these techniques and visual representations, I find key elements in everything I create, through personal experiences and storytelling. Always looking to expand on a thought or idea.
Developing a series of self-published coloring books enables me to create a world of fantasy and relieve people of the stress they face in life. Creating creatures and habitats from other places, allows me to escape from every day stress. Exploring coloring therapy, I began a journey to create books that continues to inspire and help.
Collaboration is gratifying and humbling to me. It allows me to pursue my passion, support the passions of others and cultivate an inventive creative process. It also brings individuals together, as a collective, testing the limitations of their own imaginations.
